About One Club
We're building a new home for padel in Hartlepool.
7 indoor courts.
A warm clubhouse.
Good games. Open doors.
One Club is being built for the could-go-pro-ers and the just-having-a-go-ers. For people who love sport, good company, and staying for "one more drink" after the match should've finished twenty minutes ago.
Now we're looking for someone to help bring that story to life.
Not through adverts.
Through people.
The role
This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk scheduling posts all day.
You'll be around the club.
Capturing moments.
Meeting players.
Filming matches.
Creating content that makes people think:
"I want to be part of that."
Some days you'll be interviewing members after a tournament.
Some days you'll be filming behind the scenes during construction.
Some days you'll be editing a Reel in the clubhouse with a coffee in hand.
No two weeks will look the same.
What you'll be doing
Content creation
Planning, filming and editing content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
Capturing the day-to-day life of One Club.
Creating short-form videos, photography and stories.
Working with the founders to turn ideas into content.
Community
Helping grow our WhatsApp community.
Talking with players online and in person.
Sharing league updates, event reminders and club news.
Helping make One Club feel like more than somewhere to book a court.
Marketing
Planning campaigns around launches, events and new programmes.
Supporting local partnerships and community collaborations.
Keeping our website and social channels up to date.
Club communications including email and whatsapp.
Looking for new ways to grow awareness across Hartlepool and beyond.
Brand
Protecting and developing the One Club brand.
Making sure every piece of content feels authentic, welcoming and unmistakably One Club.
Helping tell the stories that make people proud to call this their club.
Operations
Alongside creating content and growing the brand, you'll occasionally support the day-to-day running of the club, helping with events, front of house and creating a great experience for our members.

Application question(s):
- This role involves filming on your phone in-club, then editing and posting Reels/TikToks yourself.
What apps/tools do you currently use for recording and editing, and can you share 2–3 links to short-form videos you’ve personally made?
- Have you created content or run social media for a local business (gym, café, bar, sports club, salon, etc.)?
If yes, briefly describe what you did and what seemed to work best in that setting.
- Imagine you’re starting with us at One Club in Hartlepool. In simple terms, how would you approach the first 8 weeks on social to:
let local people know we exist, and
get them to join our WhatsApp Members Hub?
- This is a small team. We need someone who can plan with us and reliably publish.
Describe what a typical week of content work would look like if you joined (planning, filming, editing, posting, reporting).
- Why do you want to do digital marketing specifically for a padel club in Hartlepool, and what do you think you’d bring that most applicants won’t?
- This is a part‑time role (around X–Y hours per week) with a lot of work happening on-site in Hartlepool, especially some evenings and weekends.
When are you generally available to work (days/times), and does that pattern change during the year?
