About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Social Media Manager to join our energetic team at SM92, a fast-scaling full service digital agency focussed on growth in niche markets across the UK and USA.
You’ll be the vital link between our clients and creative teams – managing all things social, shaping content strategies, and building trusted relationships that drive results.

Responsibilities
- Own and be responsible for ensuring that all social media content projects are managed professionally and delivered on-time.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key social media accounts, confidently engaging with senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams, copywriters, and external suppliers.
- Maintain regular updates with clients or account teams, managing expectations and approvals.
- Review work for consistency against brief, brand guidelines, and client feedback and coordinate internal reviews (e.g., creative and copy QC) before submission.
- Develop and manage compelling content tailored to client requirements, including copywriting, editing, and proofreading.
- Plan and schedule content releases in alignment with client goals and project timelines, using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com and BrandWatch).
- Analyse campaign, project, and content performance data, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Maintain an organised central library of client assets, ensuring easy access and efficient workflow for design and content teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal systems (e.g. file naming, project codes, version control).
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Manager, Senior Account Manager, or Project Manager in a digital marketing agency or similar.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to client needs.
- Experience in managing workflow management systems for a small integrated teams
- Proficiency in content and project management software (e.g., HubSpot, BrandWatch, Monday.com)
- Working knowledge of social media marketing principles, with an understanding of digital marketing best practices and key industry terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts, coordinate with creative and performance teams, deliver results under tight deadlines, and maintain organised workflows.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A strategic mindset with a passion for driving client success, fostering collaboration, and contributing to agency growth.
