Job Description:
Are you an experienced Banksman looking for a new opportunity in the construction industry? Primary Detection Systems are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Construction Site Banksman to join our team on a full-time basis at our site located in Bolton, United Kingdom.
As a Construction Site Banksman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our construction site by directing the movement of vehicles, machinery, and personnel. You will be responsible for signaling and guiding construction vehicles, ensuring that they are maneuvered safely around the site. Additionally, you will work closely with the site supervisor and other team members to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing the movement of construction vehicles and machinery on site
- Providing clear and concise signals to operators to ensure safe maneuvering
- Monitoring the site to prevent accidents and hazards
- Communicating effectively with team members and site supervisors
- Assisting with general site maintenance and cleanup as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Banksman certification
- CSCS
- Previous experience working as a Banksman on a construction site
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry
