Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing processes. Responsibilities
- Manage a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Prepare and review legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely progress of transactions.
- Conduct property searches and enquiries, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Negotiate terms on behalf of clients to achieve the best possible results.
- Provide clear advice to clients regarding legal procedures and progress updates throughout the transaction process.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Conveyancing Fee Earner or in a similar residential property law role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms for clients and the firm.
- Good understanding of current conveyancing legislation and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively within a team environment.
