Job Summary
Due to Growth and investment, we are now looking for a time served Conventional machinist to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Producing high quality fasteners and machined components from either dimensional standards or engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have the experience and confidence of setting and operating Ward Capstan lathes and other conventional machinery with limited supervision.

Full time position: 8.00am to 4.30pm Fridays are 4.00pm finish
Reporting to: Production Manager
Essential Requirements (skills, experience, qualifications)
- Two years’ experience in Fastener Industry preferred.
- Read and Understand Engineering Drawings.
- Set and Operate Tangi-Flow Roller Box .
- Set and Operate Fette heads.
- Set and Operate Coventry Die Heads.
- Experience with Grinding and Forming tooling to required dimensions
- Experience with Exotic Materials (Inconel, Titanium, etc).
- Knowledge of Inspection Techniques and Measuring Equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with Drilling and Broaching components.
- Good time keeping
