We are a supportive, experienced and comprehensive team in which you will be welcomed and have the opportunity to thrive. We are a training practice for GP Registrars and support CPD training of our staff.
Our nursing team comprises of 4 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants and 1 Phlebotomist who work closely to cover a wide range of patient care to our practice population.
This role is for 18 hours per week (Tuesdays and Fridays)
The ideal candidate will have excellent basic nursing skills including Venepuncture, Chronic disease management with an interest in wound care including compression bandaging, diabetes and respiratory care.
Desirable skills would include cervical cytology, diabetes and respiratory care but training can be arranged.
Our Practice Nurses are responsible for leading on our Diabetic care working closely with our GP’s, Diabetic Specialist Nurse and Primary Care Network Dietitian to provide a high-quality level of care.
