We are seeking a friendly and creative Shop Assistant/Balloon Stylist to join our vibrant team. Thursday 9.30am - 5pm & Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm. With potential other weekday. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with merchandising, and creating stunning balloon arrangements for various occasions. The ideal candidate will be organised, communicative, and passionate about delivering memorable experiences to our customers. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products and services.
- Create eye-catching balloon displays and customised arrangements for events such as birthdays, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Maintain the organisation and visual presentation of the shop floor, ensuring merchandise is well-stocked and attractively displayed.
- Upsell products and services to maximise customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
- Handle customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to good phone etiquette.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organise stock areas efficiently.
- Assist with organising promotional displays and seasonal decorations to enhance shop appeal.
- Support the team with general cleaning, organisation, and other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in merchandising or retail environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
