A growing specialist legal practice is looking to recruit an EL/PL Portal Claims Handler to manage a caseload of Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases throughout the Portal process while working within a supportive and collaborative legal team.
- Managing a caseload of EL/PL Portal claims from inception through to settlement.

Reviewing initial claim information and maintaining accurate file records.

Monitoring limitation dates and key claim milestones.

Preparing and submitting Claim Notification Forms.

Progressing claims through all stages of the Portal process.

Obtaining and reviewing medical evidence.

Liaising with insurers, solicitors, barristers, experts and other stakeholders.

Assessing general and special damages.

Preparing schedules of loss and supporting documentation.

Assisting with litigation preparation and court documentation where required.

Providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Delivering excellent client service throughout the claims lifecycle.
- Previous experience handling EL and/or PL claims.

Understanding of the EL/PL Portal process.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
