AC Auto has an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT/Mechanic Tester to join our team at our Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will be an important part of the team, contribute to the overall success of the business and ensure we meet our requirements as an Approved MOT Centre. Position Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday ( 08:00 - 17:30) -
Salary: Salary negotiable depending on experience
Immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Inspect and assess vehicle components, including brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and lights
- Identify and report any defects or issues that may affect the safety or roadworthiness of the vehicle
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
