We are recruiting three Senior Paediatric Audiologist opportunities across our expanding Children's Audiology Service: two posts in Hounslow (one full-time 37.5 hours and one part-time 32 hours) and one full-time post in Ealing. We also welcome applications from experienced Band 5 Paediatric Audiologists looking to progress to Band 6 through a structured competency programme. As an autonomous practitioner, you will assess, diagnose, treat and provide habilitation for a varied paediatric caseload, including children with complex needs. Applicants must have experience working in a paediatric setting and be registered with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS). The role involves working across multiple community sites within your locality. Our Hounslow Paediatric Audiology Service has recently received full assurance following assessment by NHS England and the North West London Integrated Care Board, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Provide high-quality, family-centred paediatric audiology services by undertaking specialist assessments, hearing aid provision, habilitation and ongoing management for children with a wide range of hearing needs, including those with complex conditions. Work collaboratively with families, education, health and social care professionals to deliver coordinated care and support effective patient pathways. Contribute to service development through audit, quality improvement and maintaining clinical standards, including IQIPS accreditation. Support the supervision and development of junior colleagues, maintain accurate clinical records, and help ensure the safe, efficient operation of the service through effective equipment, stock and patient management.
