Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Goods In - Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inbound shipments, operating forklifts safely, and ensuring accurate handling of stock. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately
- Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure operational safety
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing goods for dispatch or storage
- Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts, weight checks, and measurements
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse work area to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting with a strong understanding of safety protocols
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and tracking
- Mechanical knowledge or basic equipment repair skills are highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with materials handling, load & unload procedures, and shipping & receiving processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurements
