Wheelbarrow Assembly Operative
Location: ENFIELD
Salary: £14.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 - 5.00 pm, Alternate Saturday min 4 hours paid.
Contract Type: Temporary / Temp-to-Perm / Permanent
Overview
We are recruiting for a Wheelbarrow Assembly Operative to join a busy warehouse and production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling wheelbarrows and related products to a high standard, ensuring that quality and production targets are met while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble wheelbarrows and associated components using hand and power tools.

Follow assembly instructions and production specifications accurately.

Fit wheels, handles, frames, trays, and other components.

Carry out quality inspections during and after assembly.

Identify and report any faulty parts or production issues.

Ensure completed products are packaged and prepared for dispatch.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.

Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills & Experience Required

Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience desirable.

Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.

Good attention to detail and quality standards.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and manual handling.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
