Greenfields Daycare is a family run nursery looking for a passionate Level 3 Early Years professional, who is dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to the children In our setting.
As a Supervisor you will play a vital role in ensuring there is a high-quality care and education delivered to our children daily. You will lead our existing team to create fun, engaging activities for the children that promote excellent learning and development for them.
The ideal candidate:
- At least 1 years experience working in a nursery is a supervisor/leader role.
- NVQ level 3 in Early Years Education and Child-care
- Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to build a good rapport with children, parents and colleagues
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging and educational activities for children in an outdoor and indoor environment using the wide range of resources available
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Lead, delegate and coach nursery assistants within the nursery
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for all children at all times
- Ensuring nursery policies and procedures are adhered to by all members staff
- Ensure all relevant forms and paperwork is completed and filed accurately
- Attendance and contribution at staff meetings
Desirable Criteria:
- Additional certificates eg. Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Fire Warden, Food Hygiene certificates
