Site Supervisor / Joinery Foreman
Due to recent contract awards and continued, controlled growth, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Joinery Foreman with a joinery background. Experience in metal stud partitioning, suspended ceilings, and fire door installation would be an advantage. Role overview Key Responsibilities and Roles:
Health and Safety Compliance: The primary role involves identifying and eliminating hazards, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring staff comply with protocols to prevent accidents.
Site Management and Planning: Overseeing daily site activity, including scheduling subcontractors and workers, and coordinating with foreman and project managers. Quality Control and Monitoring: Reviewing drawings/ plans and details to ensure work matches specifications and inspecting the quality of ongoing work and materials. Material and Resource Management: Ordering, managing, and inspecting construction materials to ensure they are available for tasks. Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate daily site logs, completing reports for management, and tracking project progress.
Liaison and Coordination: Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and managers to ensure work meets project demands Key Skills Required:
Leadership: Mentoring workers and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding construction methods, technology, and industry regulations.
Problem-Solving: Handling on-site issues and providing solutions for efficiency.
Communication: Providing instructions to teams and reporting to stakeholders
Qualifications: Valid CSCS card and SSSTS Key details Salary / package: dependent on experience
Working hours: Monday to Friday (may vary depending on project needs; occasional weekend working may be required)
