Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent
cider-making company, making premium award-winning ciders since 1880.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Process & Blending Team for a Process Operative.
This practical, hands-on role will involve working as part of an experienced team who are responsible for the blending of our premium ciders.
You will specifically be responsible for the preparation of the blends, ensuring our ciders are blended to the correct standard and recipe ready for production.
Other responsibilities include:
· Working with the lab to fix any issues
· Keeping accurate batch numbers and records
· Keeping tracking of base cider in the tanks and using appropriately
· Maintaining stock levels and escalating if low on ingredients
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with a focus on quality will be key to ensuring that our wonderful ciders are produced and finished to the premium standards we require.
Working Hours - 2 week rotating shift pattern of:
Mon - Fri - 05.30 - 14.00.
Mon - Thurs - 13.30-22.00.
Every other Sunday 05.30-14.00
