We are looking for someone to join our team in this important, interesting and varied role and would love to hear from people who are passionate about supporting older people to live their best possible life and generating income for the organisation.
The key responsibilities for the role are;
- Raise agreed target income for the charity
- Engage with our supporters and donors developing strong, sustainable relationships
- Develop and deliver new corporate and individual partnerships
- Develop and deliver a legacy and in-memoriam fundraising plan
- Ensure all income generation activity is cost effective and compliant with legal requirements
- Develop a strong understanding of the charity’s work in order to carry out the role
- To accurately identify, plan, record, monitor, analyse and evaluate progress of income generation activity
- Carry out PR/media activity and social media activity with the Marketing Lead in relation to income generation
- Communicate all non-confidential income generation activities to staff and support team members
- Carry out administrative tasks connected with the role
- Provide reports monthly to the Deputy Chief Executive and bi-monthly to the board of trustees
- Recruit, train, manage and develop income generation support team members as necessary and provide appropriate support to income generation activities
- Develop and deliver effective local fundraising activities with volunteer supporters
- To undertake any other activities commensurate with the role
Experience in an income generation environment is essential, as is the ability to network and develop opportunities with corporate and individual supporters.
Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are a must, as is the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
Full driving licence required, together with business use insurance and access to a car, as occasional travel throughout the Bradford District is required for this role.
Salary £24,454.04 per annum Pro rata, actual salary £9,252.88
14 hours per week to be worked over 2 days, due to the nature of the role, we require the postholder to have a flexible approach to days and hours of work.
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
Training will take place at our Wrose Community Hub and the successful candidate will need to be flexible with working days through induction period
