We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock toiletries as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a pristine appearance throughout the premises.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens are cleaned and presented well.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain an organised supply cart and ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping practices.
