We are looking for a new member of our cleaning team. Working as part of a team the key responsibility would be to maintain the cleanliness of the Centre to a very high standard whilst ensuring a safe working environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring the Centre is prepared and maintained to a high level of cleanliness
- Mall flooring – to include dry mopping, spillages, litter and debris clearing
- Cleaning of Corridors
- Clean escalators by using the correct equipment
- The vacuuming and cleaning of all entrance mats
- Sweep, damp mop and wipe down lifts
- Wipe down all glass doors and panels
- Clean, mop and disinfect all toilet area’s to include disabled and baby changing
- Wash or wipe where necessary all walls, pillars and painted surfaces
- Wash or wipe where necessary all furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Empty and wipe down and clean all internal Bins
- Ensure cleanliness of all Public Wash Rooms
- Wipe down and re-stock cleaning trolleys
- Positively interact with members of the public
- Maintain high level of vigilance to ensure malls are clear of all hazards
- Willingness to undertake additional hours as required
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- An ability to work in a team environment working together to develop & continually improve the service
- Experience of working within a fast moving Cleaning environment
- Excellent time management organisation, ability to prioritise and to focus on detail
- Flexibility to support regularly changing requirements
- Strong customer focus & a desire to deliver a quality service.
- Must be professional, reliable & punctual
- Must understand health & safety working practices & the need to provide Clients with a safe working environment
- Willingness to undertake training
- Knowledge and understanding of COSHH
- Flexible towards working hours and availability.
Pay: £13.45 per hour
