Job Overview
We are one of London's leading privately owned waste management companies and are looking for a experienced tipper driver to join our team.
The work is a mixture of Muckaway work and collecting and delivering primary and recycled aggregates.
Our fleet is under four years old well Maintained and we are a FORS Gold haulier.
Hours are 6-5 Monday to Friday
We sometimes have work on Saturday which is overtime
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, both on and off road
- Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs using or PDA system in each truck
- Communicate effectively with service manager regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays
- Comply with drivers hours rules
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tipper driver or in a similar role, with knowledge of delivery procedures
- Valid HGV 2 driver licence and current driver CPC
- Experience with commercial driving, including tipper trucks is highly essental
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
- Basic tech skills to use our PDA based delivery software
- must be over 25 due to insurance restrictions
- Held a HGV/LGV licence for one year due to insurance restrictions
- You must have the right to work in the UK we cannont sponser people from overseas for this role
