Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

The Role
As Care Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and the service continues to meet CQC standards.
You will:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care
- Lead, motivate and develop the existing team
- Oversee care planning, audits, medication and compliance
- Ensure the home remains compliant with CQC regulations
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Take responsibility for safeguarding, health & safety and risk management
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment and team development
- Maintain the home's excellent reputation within the local community
- Ensure the warm, homely atmosphere remains at the heart of the service
- Work closely with the senior team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
About You
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate care professional who can bring strong leadership to an established service.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing or leading within a residential or nursing care setting
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management is desirable, or a willingness to work towards this
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- Experience managing care plans, audits, medication and safeguarding
- Strong staff leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A warm, approachable and hands-on management style
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
- The flexibility to adapt working hours when required to meet the needs of the home
