Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Priyo Bazaar, ensuring efficient performance and achievement of commercial objectives.
- Develop and implement operational plans aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.
- Oversee stock management to maintain appropriate availability of meat, poultry, seafood, fresh produce, groceries and other products.
- Ensure chilled, frozen, meat, poultry and seafood products are properly received, stored, displayed and rotated.
- Allocate duties, organise staff rotas and maintain adequate staffing levels during busy trading periods.
- Maintain high customer service standards and ensure enquiries and complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
- Monitor cash-handling and till procedures, ensuring appropriate controls are consistently followed.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience in retail or a related environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams toward common goals.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, inventory control, and administrative procedures.
- Experience in supervising staff, managing schedules, and overseeing daily store activities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of store operations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
