ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at ITP Aero’s manufacturing site in Hucknall, this role sits at the centre of the maintenance operation, controlling how work is planned, scheduled, resourced and closed out across a large industrial facility.
You will own the SAP maintenance data, coordinate our subcontractor base, and act as a day-to-day point of contact for the client. It is a role for an engineer who enjoys structure and data, but who is equally comfortable on the shop floor with the maintenance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Plan and schedule planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, balancing labour, materials and site access against a continuous production pattern
– Raise, prioritise, progress and close maintenance notifications and work orders in SAP, maintaining accurate asset, job history and cost data
– Manage subcontractor attendance end to end: scheduling visits, reviewing RAMS, supporting permits to work, verifying completion and obtaining certification
– Maintain statutory and compliance records, ensuring evidence is complete, current and audit-ready at all times
– Support the maintenance team with job packs, technical documentation, spares availability and clear scheduling
– Liaise professionally with the client, providing clear updates on work status, priorities and completion
– Produce KPI and performance reporting for internal management and client review meetings
– Analyse recurring failures and backlog trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the contract
– Support project and improvement works as directed, including quotation and material procurement
– Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and work in line with company KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
– Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organisation Engineering or a comparable technical discipline — essential
– Practical experience of SAP PM (notifications and work orders) or an equivalent CMMS/CAFM system — essential
– Experience of maintenance planning within an industrial, manufacturing or facilities management environment — essential

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– Strong technical background with the ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload
– Excellent organisational skills and a disciplined approach to data and record keeping
– Good communication skills and a confident, professional, client-facing manner
– A team player who works closely with engineers, subcontractors and the client to maintain high standards
WHAT WE OFFER
– Competitive salary of £39,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
