Skilled Carpenter Wanted – Self-Employed (Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week)
We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated self-employed carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).
You’ll be working on a variety of residential projects, from full house renovations to high-quality finish carpentry. We need someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and consistently delivers a high standard of work.
Responsibilities include:
- Full kitchen installations
- Hanging internal and external doors
- Fitting skirting boards and architraves
- Stud wall construction
- Flooring installation (laminate, engineered wood, etc.)
- Fencing and external carpentry
- Boxing in pipework, gas meters, and electrical installations
- General first and second fix carpentry
- Assisting with complete house renovations
- Carrying out a wide range of general carpentry tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in all aspects of carpentry
- Ability to complete work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- Own tools and transport (transport can be provided from our unit based in aberbargoed)
- Self-employed CIS payments
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work independently and solve problems on site
