Credit Controller - Misco Technologies
Misco Technologies is seeking a meticulous and proactive Credit Controller to join our commercial finance team. We’ve just moved into our new offices, conveniently located within walking distance of Rushden Lakes and right in the heart of Northamptonshire.
In this role, you will manage the credit control process, ensure timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintain positive relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities are to include:
- Monitor and manage the company’s credit control processes to ensure timely payments from clients.
- Analyse customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications through data entry tasks.
- Utilise accounting software to track outstanding invoices and generate management reports.
- Follow up on overdue accounts via calls or emails, negotiating payment terms where necessary.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while communicating with clients regarding their accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
What we'd like:
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role is preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software is essential for accurate data management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial information effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in financial services or telemarketing is advantageous but not mandatory.
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
