Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Preparing and cleaning GRP moulds for production.
- Applying release agents, gelcoat, and preparing mould surfaces.
- Laying fibreglass matting, mixing, and applying resins.
- Laminating fibreglass using rollers and hand tools.
- Learning material quantities and laminating processes.
- Removing, trimming, cutting, drilling, and finishing GRP products.
- Checking products for defects and quality.
- Handling fibreglass, resins, and materials.
- Assisting with production, operating, and maintaining moulds.
- Packaging and dispatching products.
- Loading, warehouse duties, and equipment maintenance.
- Keeping workstations clean, organised, and safe.
- Following instructions and meeting targets.

Working Environment
This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment.
You will be working with fibreglass, resins, gelcoats and associated manufacturing materials, so applicants should be comfortable working in a factory environment.
The role is physically active and may involve standing for extended periods, manual handling and some lifting.
Appropriate PPE will be supplied, and full health and safety training will be provided.

Architectural Fibreglass Mouldings Limited manufacture a wide range of GRP architectural products, including door canopies, dormers, bay roofs and other fibreglass components for the UK construction and housebuilding industry.
Pay: £12.71-£20.49 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
