We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking person to join our sales team at Ashley Timber. Your main role will be to answer sales call via telephone, email and sometimes on the trade counter.
You will need to show a willingness to learn the products and the business and a positive can do attitude to develop sales and answer customer enquiries. There are opportunities to progress and develop within this role as we are looking for a candidate to work here long term.
At times you maybe required to help serve customers on the trade counter and hopefully help to run our online shop. You should be punctual and hard working and able to work as part of a well-established experienced team.
Duties to include
· Answering sales enquires via telephone, email and Facebook.
· Developing sales opportunities.
· Maintaining social media presence and developing campaigns.
· Occasionally work on the trade counter when required.
It will be advantageous to have experience or knowledge of the timber industry or timber products and it is essential to be IT literate. Experience with social media platforms would also be favourable.
Working hours are Monday -Thurs 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4.30pm & alternative Saturday mornings 8am - 1pm

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
