Eco Grants UK Ltd is an established MCS-accredited renewable energy company specialising in the design and installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Solar PV, Battery Storage, and other energy-efficient heating solutions across England.
Due to continued growth and an increasing number of Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) and renewable energy projects, we are looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Installer to join our expanding installation team.

Key Responsibilities
- Install domestic air-to-water Air Source and Air to Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- Install hot water cylinders, buffer vessels, volumisers, expansion vessels, circulation pumps, valves, and associated pipework.
- Install and upgrade radiators and heating emitters in accordance with approved system designs.
- Complete first-fix and second fix plumbing installations.
- Carry out flushing, filling, pressure testing, dosing, and hydraulic balancing.
- Install heating controls, thermostats, weather compensation controls, and smart heating controls.
- Commission Air Source Heat Pump systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Work from heat loss calculations, system designs, and radiator schedules.
- Complete commissioning documentation, installation records, photographs and customer handover documentation.
- Ensure all installations comply with MCS standards, Building Regulations, Water Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Provide customers with a full demonstration of the installed heating system.
- Represent Eco Grants UK Ltd professionally at all customer properties.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience installing domestic Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Qualification.
- Strong plumbing and heating installation experience.
- Knowledge of low-temperature heating systems.
- Experience installing cylinders, radiators and heating controls.
- Ability to read technical drawings and system schematics.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel throughout England and stay away when required.
Desirable Qualifications
The following would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of and compliance to MCS installation regulations.
- Experience with Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) installations.
- Water Regulations Qualification.
- F-Gas Qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Working at Height Training.

Pay: £35,420.00-£44,275.37 per year
