We aim to provide excellent customer service and high standards of grooming, while creating a friendly and supportive working environment where everyone feels part of a close-knit team.
We are looking for an experienced and confident Dog Groomer / Key Holder to join our lovely team. This is a permanent position, offering 30–35 hours per week.
As our Key Holder, you’ll open and close the salon, cash up and make sure our salon is kept to a high standard. You will also help keep things running smoothly throughout the day.
What You'll Do
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be personable and build great rapport with our customers and their dogs
- Groom a range of breeds independently to a high professional standard
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the salon
- Open and close the salon and cash up
- Answer the phone and take bookings
- Assist with the general running of the salon
- Be a team player and help maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere within the team
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional dog grooming experience is essential
- City & Guilds qualification preferred, but not essential for the right candidate with strong experience
- Confident grooming a range of breeds independently to a high standard
- Someone who takes pride in their work and gives attention to detail
- Someone who has strong customer-service focus
- Sometime who is reliable and committed
- Previous key-holder experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential
- Someone who genuinely loves animals and is patient, caring and gentle with every dog
This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced groomer who wants to become part of an established team.
