Reframe Recycling is looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our growing team.
The role involves collecting and loading uPVC window frames from trade customers and residential properties across Greater Manchester and the wider North West. This is a physically active role and applicants must be comfortable lifting and moving window frames throughout the day.
Customer service is a key part of this role. Our business has grown through reputation, repeat customers and recommendations, so we're looking for someone who is approachable, polite and takes pride in providing excellent service. We believe in turning up on time, greeting customers with a smile and leaving a positive impression at every collection.
This is not a multi-drop courier role. You'll typically complete a small number of collections each day, build relationships with customers, and ensure materials are collected safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a long wheelbase 3.5 tonne van
- Collecting uPVC window frames from customers
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Completing collection paperwork accurately
- Using a smartphone to record collections and take photographs where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
Requirements
- Age 25+ (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence with no major endorsements
- Experience driving long wheelbase vans
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage your day effectively
- Comfortable completing basic paperwork and using mobile apps

Training and Support
Full training will be provided. Successful applicants will spend time working alongside one of our experienced drivers to learn our collection processes, customer service standards, paperwork requirements and loading/unloading procedures.
We don't expect new starters to know everything from day one. We'll provide the support and training needed to help you become confident in the role and understand how we operate.
