We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our security team in Nottingham. This venue is city centre based and has the potential of being a 7 day a week door for the right candidate if that is what you are looking for.
Responsibilities
- Greet and manage entry of guests, staff, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Conduct thorough security checks, including surveillance and CCTV monitoring, to identify potential risks or suspicious activity.
- Enforce venue policies related to access control, alcohol service, and conduct to ensure safety for everyone present.
- Monitor premises continuously through CCTV systems, performing regular patrols to deter theft and maintain security integrity.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with emergency services and executing first aid procedures when necessary.
- Prevent loss by implementing loss prevention strategies, observing customer behavior, and managing crowd flow effectively.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for accountability and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or crowd management roles; previous door supervision is highly desirable.
- Valid Door Supervisor license issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently and calmly handle emergency situations.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail when conducting patrols or monitoring CCTV footage.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests, staff, and emergency responders.
- Physically fit with the stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.
