- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting recruitment, including advertising, CV screening and interview coordination
- Completing pre-employment checks and helping new starters through onboarding
- Monitoring attendance, holidays and shift information
- Responding to routine employee queries and escalating more complex matters
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance and investigation meetings, including taking minutes
- Assisting with employee wellbeing, recognition and engagement activities
- Providing HR support during audits, seasonal peaks and company events
What we’re looking for
- CIPD Level 3 qualification
- One to two years’ HR experience, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, agriculture or another high-volume environment
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
Experience supporting employee relations cases or working with payroll would be an advantage.
