Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture pieces, transforming raw materials into functional and aesthetically appealing products. Your expertise in woodworking, precise fabrication, and assembly as well as on site installation will contribute to delivering exceptional craftsmanship that meets client specifications and project deadlines. Duties
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools to create custom cabinets and furniture
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, sanders, and joinery equipment
- Join components using techniques such as dovetailing, doweling, gluing, nailing, and screwing to ensure sturdy construction
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to achieve desired aesthetic effects
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery within a woodworking or cabinetry environment
- Proficiency with hand tools (chisels, hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (saws, drills), and woodworking machinery
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Knowledge of on site installation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
