Role Purpose
Provide efficient and accurate administrative support across the employee lifecycle and wider HR Function. The role is responsible for maintaining employee records, preparing HR documentation, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring day-to-day HR administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide general administrative support to the HR and wider teams, and respond to routine HR queries.
· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems
· Prepare and issue standard HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters and employment correspondence.
· Support recruitment administration, including posting vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.
· Coordinate pre-employment checks, references, and right-to-work documentation.
· Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
· Process employee changes, including changes to personal details, job roles, working hours, and other contractual information.
· Maintain holiday, absence and other time and attendance records as required.
· Maintain electronic and paper personnel files in accordance with data protection requirements.
· Produce routine HR reports and information when required.
· Support HR projects and other administrative activities as required.
Skills and Experience
· Previous administration experience; HR experience is desirable.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Confident use of MS office and HR systems
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Qualifications
CIPD level 3 or equivalent HR qualification is desirable but not essential. Relevant administrative experience and a willingness to develop within HR may also be considered.
Pay: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
