Jesse Smith is a long-established, family-run business, and we’re looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Machinery Operative to join our growing team. Based at our Cirencester farm shop, this is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations — perfect for someone looking for a long-term position with genuine progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading deliveries from lorries and vans
- Organising and moving stock into the correct fridges and storage areas
- Managing our sundries department – keeping it well stocked and placing orders for supplies and maintenance as needed
- Operating machinery (full training provided)
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace
What We’re Looking For:
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Organised, reliable, and detail-focused
- A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Willing to learn – experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential
- Previous forklift experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided if needed
