The Joiner (Voids) is responsible for carrying out a wide range of joinery works across void properties, ensuring homes are brought up to the required lettable standard and ready for reoccupation. Duties include fitting and repairing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, worktops, flooring and completing refurbishment works to a high standard.
Working closely with other trades, the Joiner will help minimise void turnaround times while maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
Applicants must have proven experience in both first and second fix joinery, hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent), possess a valid CSCS Card, and have a full UK driving licence.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent workmanship, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality repairs and refurbishments across the void housing stock.
