About the Role
Our café serves the traditional favourites customers love, including:
- Breakfasts and brunch dishes
- Homemade soups
- Jacket potatoes
- Sandwiches and light lunches
- Daily specials
- Cakes and afternoon treats
This is not a late-night restaurant kitchen. We operate daytime hours only, serving quality homemade food to garden centre visitors in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook café menu items to a high standard
- Support service during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are maintained
- Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and efficient
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service

- Previous cooking or chef experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
