Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production/Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting manufacturing and warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a safe and organised environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in assembling products, handling materials, and assisting with various operational tasks within the warehouse setting. Previous experience in warehouse or production environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Operate and assist with various manufacturing equipment and tools, including hand tools and power tools. Drills, sanders, Chop Saws ect.
- Assist with assembly of products or components according to specifications.
- Handle materials by moving, loading, and organising stock within the warehouse.
- Support the setup and breakdown of production lines or workstations as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks in the working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and recording movements of goods.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all operational tasks.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met during assembly and handling activities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness to lift loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual handling duties safely.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational requirements.

Pay: £12.71-£14.21 per hour
