Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Surveyor to join our team. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive asbestos surveys to identify the presence of asbestos-containing materials in various buildings and structures. Your expertise will help ensure safety standards are met, enabling clients to manage asbestos risks effectively. Duties
- Perform detailed asbestos surveys in compliance with current regulations and industry standards
- Collect samples from different building materials for laboratory analysis
- Accurately record survey findings, including locations and types of asbestos-containing materials
- Prepare clear, thorough reports outlining survey results and recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of asbestos legislation, safety procedures, and best practices
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth communication and compliance
- Assist in developing risk assessments and management plans based on survey data
Experience
- Proven experience conducting asbestos surveys or related environmental assessments
- Strong analysis skills to interpret survey data accurately and identify potential hazards
- Knowledge of current asbestos regulations, health & safety standards, and industry guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members
- Relevant certifications such as P402 (Asbestos Surveying) are highly desirable

Pay: £26,390.73-£63,616.58 per year
