We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Food Beverage Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role working across all areas of our food and beverage operation, including restaurant service and bar duties.
- Providing professional and friendly waiting service for:
- Serving food and beverages to a high standard
- Operating and maintaining the bar, including preparing and serving drinks
- Setting up and clearing tables
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation of service areas
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Previous experience in food service and bar work is essential
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods

About Us
Built in the early 1900s, the 83-bedroom Caledonian Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the area. It still boasts a quiet, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and pleasant gardens.
The Hotel overlooks Ullapool's working harbour and the colourful fishing boats on Loch Broom. To the right of the hotel is the Fowler Memorial Clock - said to be the most photographed clock in the Highlands. It was first erected in 1899 in memory of Sir John Arthur Fowler (1817-1898) and his family who lived at Braemore House near Corrieshalloch Gorge. However, to help reduce traffic congestion, it was moved to its new home in West Argyle Street in the 1960s.
