Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing, family-run organisation, working across The Meadows Wildlife Park, Playworks Childcare and Celtic Property Maintenance Services.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in high standards, and is confident working independently.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out general maintenance and repair works across the wildlife park site
- Electrical and plumbing maintenance (qualified essential)
- Carpentry, fencing, and general building works
- Grounds maintenance and outdoor works
- Supporting and overseeing building extension and improvement projects
- Working across domestic, commercial, and site-based projects via Celtic Property Maintenance Services
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Requirements
- Qualified in Electrical and Plumbing works
- Strong multi-trade background including carpentry, fencing, and building work
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience relating to the key skills or other
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous site supervisor or site management experience
- Experience working on extensions or larger building projects
- Grounds maintenance experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
