Themoving Healthcare Solutions is a healthcare recruitment agency urgently looking for experienced Care Team Leaders to cover ongoing shifts in a Residential Care Home in the Gillingham/Shaftesbury area of Dorset.
Available Shifts
- Early Shift: 7:30am–2:30pm
- Late Shift: 2:30pm–9:30pm
- Night Shift: 9:30pm–7:30am
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support care staff during the shift.
- Allocate duties and ensure all required care is completed.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Complete care records, handovers and incident reports.
- Support residents with personal care and daily activities.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and safeguarding concerns.
- Ensure high standards of dignity, safety and person-centred care.
- Liaise professionally with permanent staff, families and healthcare professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Care Team Leader
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
- Recent experience working in a residential or nursing care setting.
- Competent and experienced in medication administration.
- Strong leadership, communication and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control and health and safety.
- Valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS.
- Up-to-date mandatory care training.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Satisfactory employment references.
- Reliable transport or the ability to travel reliably to the care home.
This is an urgent agency requirement with the possibility of regular and ongoing shifts for reliable candidates.
