Potton Services Independent Personal Care Specialist Agency is currently recruiting for kind, caring people like you who want to make a difference, by joining our team of dedicated Children's Care Assistants. Our independent personal care service, recently rated as "Good" by CQC, provides respite care for families with children or young people with additional needs, as well as support from hospital to home; supervised contact, transport and rehabilitation services.
About the job
You will be able to deliver a high level of domiciliary community care and support to parents with children or young people.
Demonstrating care and respect at all times, you will be assisting our service users with all aspects of personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, administering medication and assisting with meal preparation and feeding. Supporting service users to attend school and activities out in the community.
You will understand the importance of each home visit and respite sessions, you will need to be flexible and able to our attend client’s needs in a timely manner. You will be required to undertake risk assessments and complete regulated activity and care plans.
About you
We are looking for committed Children's Care Assistants to work in Essex, London and Kent.
Previous experience in a similar role would be of an advantage.
Must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
You will possess excellent communication skills as well as understand the need for confidentiality and trustworthiness
You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships and promote children’s and young people's independence, choice and dignity and respect, delivering the very best standards in care.
