Asbestos Removal Operatives
Mech Tech requires several experienced Asbestos Removal Operatives to join our project in Luton. The project is for 6 months, and several spaces are available to start immediately, as well as additional spaces which will come up during the duration of the project. This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment, committed to working within H&SE regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely remove asbestos materials in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protective equipment (RPE) at all times during operations
- Ensure punctuality on-site
Qualifications & Requirements
- Applicants must have in-date Asbestos Removal Training and Asbestos Medical, as well as all up to date RPE Certs (Mask Test along with Full & Half Mask Face-Fits).
- CSCS Card is essential specifically for this site. A CSCS Test can be accepted, however a card will need to be ordered
- Must have your own RPE Equipment (both full and half masks), as well as basic tools
Pay
The pay rate offered is £200 per shift, which can be paid via CIS.
