We're looking for a compassionate and qualified Counsellor to join our Children, Young People and Family team, providing safe, confidential therapeutic support to children and young people across community settings, mainstream and special schools, and EOTAS provisions throughout the Greater Belfast area.
In this rewarding role, you'll deliver a blended counselling service, providing both face-to-face and digital therapy tailored to the needs of children, young people and their families. You'll carry out assessments, deliver one-to-one and group therapeutic interventions, manage a varied caseload, and work collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, experience of delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and ethical practice. You'll be confident working independently while contributing positively to a supportive multidisciplinary team and maintaining high standards of record keeping, clinical governance and professional development.
As part of the role, you'll participate in regular clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing learning, while contributing to the continuous development and quality of our counselling services. You'll help ensure services remain accessible, responsive and person-centred, supporting children and young people to improve their mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
