We're looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team across our supported living services in Bognor Regis and Merston.

About the role
As a Senior Support Worker you'll spend much of your time working directly alongside the people we support.
One day you might be helping someone learn a new life skill, supporting them to attend an appointment, enjoy a day out or even a holiday abroad. The next, you'll be leading the shift, mentoring colleagues and making sure everything runs smoothly.
You'll work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to provide high-quality, person-centred support while helping to maintain a positive, supportive and well-organised service.

Your responsibilities
As one of our Senior Support Workers you'll:
- Lead shifts with confidence and positivity.
- Support adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.
- Encourage people to make choices, develop new skills and achieve their personal goals.
- Coach and support colleagues, promoting good practice and person-centred values.
- Complete staff supervisions and support day-to-day team development.
- Assist with rotas, shift planning and the smooth running of the service.
- Ensure support plans, risk assessments and medication procedures are followed.
- Complete accurate records and documentation.
- Work alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to continually improve the quality of our service.
- Help create a culture where kindness, respect and teamwork are part of everyday life.
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing out the best in others.
You'll be calm under pressure, approachable, organised and passionate about helping people achieve meaningful lives.
You'll have:
- At least two years' experience supporting adults in a social care setting (preferably adults with learning disabilities).
- Experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred support.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards one.
Most importantly, you'll share our belief that great support is built on respect, encouragement and working alongside people—not simply caring for them.
Working hours
This is a full-time position.
Our services operate 24 hours a day, so flexibility is essential. You'll work a variety of shifts, including alternate weekends, some bank holidays and sleep-in duties.
