Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our despatch operations. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a cold environment and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse processes. Hours - Monday to Thursday
Duties
- This position involves heavy lifting
- Picking orders, scanning boxes and creating invoices
- Maintain stock levels by monitoring inventory and reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Loading and unloading lorries.
- Moving vehicles around the yard to enable loading. Must be comfortable reversing onto loading bays.
- Daily defect checking and reporting on vehicles
- Contacting suppliers to rectify vehicle issues and general maintenance of vehicles
- In-house correction of minor vehicle issues such as bulb replacements
- Collaborate with team members to build effective workflows that enhance productivity.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Driving licence essential
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial for success in this role
