Overview
Your Dar Charity is seeking experienced and passionate Secondary School Teachers to join our Smart Education Hub, supporting girls in Years 7–11 (KS3 and KS4) in a caring, supportive and empowering learning environment.
The successful candidates will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons, support students with different learning needs and abilities, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback and additional support where required.
You will help create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment where students feel supported, motivated and able to reach their potential.
Job Details
Job Type: Part-time, paid
Hours: Up to 16 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, 09:30–13:30.
Fewer hours may be considered depending on subject requirements, availability and timetable needs.
Nature of Workplace: Smart Education Hub providing education exclusively for secondary school girls
Location: Collis House, 48 Newport Road, Woolstone, Milton Keynes, MK15 0AA
Work Arrangement: Face-to-face teaching only
Subjects: Teachers of all secondary school subjects are welcome to apply.
Facilities: The Smart Education Hub is well equipped with interactive smart boards and the resources required to support high-quality secondary education.
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience
Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience teaching at secondary school level
- Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good classroom and behaviour-management skills
- Ability to motivate and engage young people
- Ability to adapt teaching to different abilities, learning styles and needs
- Professional, reliable and organised approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
Desirable:
- QTS or another relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4
- Experience teaching girls in secondary education
- Experience providing tutoring or additional academic support
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs
- Experience in community, charity or youth-focused education
