Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on styles and treatments
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering
Requirements
- Proven experience in barbering, with minimum Level 2 qualification
- Strong communication skills in English, capable of effectively engaging with diverse clients
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and friendliness at all times
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Organised with attention to detail, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Previous experience in a salon environment is advantageous but not essential
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
