Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Operations / Admin Support professional to join our team. Duties
- Manage category procurement and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability across warehouses and distribution centers
- Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and communicate with carriers and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with shipping & receiving activities, picking & packing orders, and materials handling procedures
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and AS400 platforms to process orders, update records, and generate reports
- Conduct data analysis to identify process inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement best practices for supply chain optimization
- Assist with process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining logistics workflows and reducing costs
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when required for materials movement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
- Strong knowledge of category management principles and process improvement methodologies
- Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 platforms
- Ability to handle materials safely using forklift trucks or other handling equipment; forklift certification is preferred
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information and generate actionable insights
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, carriers, 3PL providers, and suppliers
- Warehouse experience including picking & packing tasks; familiarity with materials handling standards is advantageous
