Location - Bristol – Workshop & Field Based
Salary - Up to £45,000 OTE
Hours - Monday–Friday | 8:30am–5:30pm
The Company
Our client is a well-established engineering business specialising in the supply, installation, servicing and refurbishment of specialist waste handling and recycling equipment.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business that genuinely invests in its engineers through ongoing product and technical training.
The Person
You'll be a practical Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience servicing, repairing or maintaining machinery.
Applications are welcomed from engineers with backgrounds in:
- Recycling and waste handling equipment
- Plant machinery
- Agricultural equipment
- Forklift trucks
- Conveyor systems
- Packaging machinery
- Automated warehousing
- Commercial laundry equipment
- Lifts, gates or automatic doors
Experience with three-phase electrics and hydraulics would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training is provided, including the opportunity to gain your 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
Engineers from Field Service, Maintenance, Workshop or ex-forces backgrounds (REME, Royal Navy or RAF) are encouraged to apply. A full UK driving licence is essential.
The Role
Working between the workshop and customer sites, you'll install, service, repair and refurbish specialist recycling and waste handling equipment.
- Servicing and preventative maintenance
- Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault finding
- Workshop refurbishment of machinery
- Installation and commissioning
- Breakdown repairs
- Customer training and technical support
- Completing service reports and documentation
